A wonderful Antique Suffragette gate bracelet modelled in 9ct Yellow Gold and dotted with violet Amethysts, green Peridots and white Pearls.
Together the colours of each stone pay tribute to the women’s Suffragette movement which took place in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which symbolised: Purple for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope, or Give Women Votes!
The piece is in excellent condition and fitted with a secure safety chain and box clasp which features the makers mark of S. Blanckensee & Sons Ltd who were a reputable jeweller in London during the early 20th century.
